Well..they (we) finally did it…a pair of besties/#womenintech/glam/dress addicts have teamed up to start bringing you thoughtfully curated looks. Good news: we decided to stop being selfish gatekeepers and share our fav looks and products of the moment. Bad news: after many years of free glam and styling, we might have to start charging our friends now that tthe LOOK has been born (surprise! it’s a girl!). It has been one whole month since we launched and the support that our baby has been met with is overwhelming. Thank you for being here now and for what is yet to come.
We’re celebrating this September’s edition of tthe lookbook as it’s the very FIRST, but it’s on theme with the summer we just had celebrating many of our best friends getting engaged, married, showered, etc., etc. Although summer (and every season) is always for the girls, we’ve been riding an EXTRA girly high all summer long a la Ms. Swift and Barbie. Thanks to these ladies for demanding a season of colors, sparkles, PINK, and general maximizing.
As the invitations rolled in for the summer of guesting, one question was top of mind: WTF are we wearing?! And what are we doing with our hair? And should I try this makeup tutorial from the youths of tiktok? And do I need a new bag for this? And I hate all my shoes??? Ok so the pending RSVPs actually raised a LOT of questions because a good look requires so much more than just a dress! Thus, we’re sharing some of our approaches to summer 2023 as professional wedding guests and receivers of many “where is that from” DMs.
